Resumo: The aim of the research was to investigate the establishing process of the Institutional Policy (IP) of teacher education at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) accordingly the Nacional Curriculum Guidelines issued by Resolution CNE/CP no. 2/2015. It was a qualitative documental investigation, supported by semi-structured interviews with key subjects in the actuation process of the policy. Based on the Theory of policy enactment of Ball, Maguire and Braun (2016), the enactment process of these guidelines in the context of practice was investigated, through documents, texts, artefacts and discourses of key-subjects, in order to map the interpretation and translation movement of this policy, which resulted on the approved IP on teacher education at that university. Institutional Policy.El objetivo de la investigación fue investigar el proceso instituyente de la Política Institucional (PI) de formación de profesores en la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande (FURG) a partir de las Directrices Curriculares Nacionales emanadas de la Resolución CNE/CP Nº 2/2015. Fue una investigación cualitativa, de carácter documental, que utilizó el recurso de entrevistas semiestructuradas, con sujetos-clave en el desempeño de la Política. Teniendo como referencia la teoría de la actuación política de Ball, Maguire y Braun (2016), el proceso de actuación de estas directrices en el contexto de la práctica fue analizado, por medio de documentos, textos, artefactos y discursos de los sujetos-clave, para mapear el movimiento de interpretación y traducción de esta política en el proceso instituyente que resultó en la aprobación de la PI para la formación de profesores de esta universidad. Política Institucional.O objetivo da pesquisa foi investigar o processo instituinte da Política Institucional (PI) de formação de professores na Universidade Federal de Rio Grande (FURG) a partir das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais emanadas da Resolução CNE/CP Nº 2/2015. Foi uma pesquisa qualitativa, de cunho documental, que se utilizou do recurso de entrevistas semiestruturadas, com sujeitos-chave na atuação da política. Tendo como referencial a Teoria da atuação da política de Ball, Maguire e Braun (2016), o processo de atuação dessas diretrizes no contexto da prática foi analisado, por meio dos documentos, textos, artefatos e discursos dos sujeitos-chave, para mapear o movimento de interpretação e tradução dessa política no processo instituinte que resultou na aprovação da PI de formação de professores dessa universidade.
