Resumo: This article deals with the educational context of the creation of the first school in the city of Ponta Grossa, state of Paraná, Brazil, Grupo Escolar Senador Correia, and the first high school in the hinterlands of the state, Ginásio Regente Feijó, from 1912 to 1945. The research, within the scope of the History of Education, was of a documental and bibliographical nature, and the time frame was guided by the criteria adopted, which consisted in consulting the documentation of the respective school archives. The study was based on the theoretical perspective of cultural history, using the concepts of school culture and school material culture. The objective was to show elements of appropriation in relation to the formation process of a school culture, verifying issues related to the internalization of actions in the school routine, as well as the systematization and standardization of the school environment. In this direction, specific issues of school material culture were addressed, considering the different scales of hierarchical dialogue with the political spheres that made up local, regional and national public education in the first half of the 20th century. La investigación, en el ámbito de la Historia de la Educación, fue de carácter documental y bibliográfico y el recorte temporal tuvo como direccionamiento los criterios adoptados en la consulta a la documentación de los respectivos archivos escolares. El estudio se fundamentó en la perspectiva teórica de la historia cultural, utilizando los conceptos de cultura escolar y cultura material escolar. El objetivo fue mostrar elementos de apropiaciones en lo que se refiere al proceso de formación de una cultura escolar, verificando cuestiones relacionadas con la internalización de acciones en el cotidiano escolar, así como la sistematización y normalización del ambiente escolar. En esta dirección, fueron abordadas cuestiones específicas de la cultura material escolar, considerando las diferentes escalas de interlocución jerárquica con las esferas políticas que componían la educación pública local, regional y nacional de la primera mitad del siglo XX. Ginásio Regente Feijó.Este artigo trata do contexto educacional de criação do primeiro grupo escolar na cidade de Ponta Grossa, Paraná, o Grupo Escolar Senador Correia, e do primeiro ginásio no interior do estado, o Ginásio Regente Feijó, no período de 1912 a 1945. A pesquisa, no âmbito da História da Educação, foi de cunho documental e bibliográfico, e o recorte temporal teve como direcionamento os critérios adotados na consulta à documentação dos respectivos arquivos escolares. O estudo fundamentou-se na perspectiva teórica da história cultural, utilizando-se dos conceitos de cultura escolar e cultura material escolar. O objetivo foi evidenciar elementos de apropriações no que se refere ao processo de formação de uma cultura escolar, verificando questões atinentes à internalização de ações no cotidiano escolar, bem como à sistematização e à normatização do ambiente escolar. Nessa direção, foram abordadas questões específicas da cultura material escolar, considerando as diferentes escalas de interlocução hierárquica com as esferas políticas que compunham a educação pública local, regional e nacional da primeira metade do século XX.
