A “Terra da Luz” tem preto, sim! Um relato da experiência antirracista do Ceará Criolo como ponto de inflexão jornalística

This report intends to reveal how Ceará Criolo aired and how it works as the first black journalism website in the brazilian territory that claims the title of pioneer in the abolition of slavery in the country. In a self-narrative, this article reveals the sociopolitical conditions of action of this black media in the improvement process of the website itself and the racial literacy of the journalists who were made part of it. This writing shows the website has always been linked to racial and communication theories even though it arose from the empirical nuisance of five young people with no racial readings. And how urgent it is to emerge from there a new way of doing journalism. The intersection of these currents of thought - race and communication - is here to open a necessary fissure in the debate about the information we have been producing.
