Concept of Tradition in Gilmar de Carvalho’ works and the perspectives on Cordel poetry in Communication

Resumo: This work reflects the concept of Tradition developed by Gilmar de Carvalho's research. Based on this framework, we call upon your understanding of the approach to cordel poetry as a cultural phenomenon and discussed in the field of Communication. Therefore, this text brings a bibliographical review that dialogues with the researcher's own work and makes propositions around a theoretical deepening of the brazilian cordel. We observe that, for Carvalho, Tradition is a fusion of times, impossible to be apprehended in a linear reading.

Con base en este marco, hacemos un llamado a su comprensión delenfoque de la poesía de cordel como un fenómeno cultural discutido en el campo de laComunicación. Por tanto, este texto trae una revisión bibliográfica que dialoga con el prop iotrabajo del investigador y hace proposiciones en torno a una profundización teórica del cordelbrasileño. Observamos que, para Carvalho, la Tradición es una fusión de tiempos, imposiblede aprehender en una lectura linear.Este trabalho realiza uma reflexão em torno do conceito de Tradição desenvolvido nas pesquisas de Gilmar de Carvalho. A partir desse referencial, convocamos seu entendimento na abordagem da poesia de cordel como um fenômeno cultural discutido no campo da Comunicação. Para tanto, esse texto traz uma revisão bibliográfica que dialoga com a própria obra do pesquisador e realiza proposições em torno de um aprofundamento teórico sobre o cordel brasileiro.
