Sebastião Salgado's folk-communication imagetic in the portrait of social and environmental policies

Resumo: The folk-communicative discourse is widely diversified. After all, it establishes itself where andwhen marginalized groups need a voice. However, when thinking about folk communication,there is a tendency to project such speeches to traditionally popular manifestations.Therefore, we developed this article, which aims to position photoreport as a folk-communicational discourse, placing the photographer as a folk agent. For that, we analyzedSebastião Salgado's reading contract in two of his works - Exodus and Genesis -, with aformative and reflective nature about the photographer. With the conclusion of this article, itis expected that new perspectives will be given to the photoreporters, who occupy throughthe image the function of the people's translator.

Después de todo, se establecedónde y cuándo los grupos marginados necesitan una voz. Sin embargo, al pensar en lafolkcomunicación, hay una tendencia a proyectar tales discursos a manifestacionestradicionalmente populares. Así que desarrollamos este artículo, que apunta a posicionar elfotorreportaje como un discurso folkcomunicacional, poniendo al fotógrafo como un agentefolk. Para ello, analizamos el contrato de lectura de Sebastião Salgado en dos de sus obras -Éxodo y Génesis -, con un carácter formativo y reflexivo sobre el fotógrafo. Se espera, con laconclusión de este artículo, que nuevas miradas ser lanzado a fotorreportadores, que ocupana través de la imagen la función de traductor del pueblo.O discurso folkcomunicacional é amplamente diversificado. Afinal, ela se estabelece onde e quando os grupos marginalizados têm necessidade de voz. Entretanto, quando se pensa em folkcomunicação, tende-se a projetar tais discursos a manifestações tradicionalmente populares. Por isso, desenvolvemos este artigo, que tem como objetivo posicionar a fotorreportagem como um discurso folkcomunicacional, colocando o fotógrafo como agente folk. Para tanto, analisamos o contrato de leitura de Sebastião Salgado em duas de suas obras - Êxodos e Gênesis -, com um cariz formativo e reflexivo sobre o fotógrafo.
