Abstract: This article focuses on the construction of an intersectoral network for mental health care. It reports on an experience using a qualitative and descriptive approach. The data was collected through participant observation during a required curricular internship in Social Service, conducted at a Center for Psychosocial Care for Children and Adolescents in southern Brazil, between August 2016 and June 2017. A bibliographic review was also conducted of concepts of network, intersectoriality and territory from the perspective of critical social theory, to support the description and analysis of the constitution of the intersectoral network. The results correspond to the analyses made about the construction of the network, by means of which it was possible to undertake processes of organization and mobilization. It is understood that it is necessary to go farther with the proposal, but that it serves to mobilize, qualify and construct public policies.
