Resumo: Carnival floats are included in the context of objects that have been categorized as popular, decorative, handmade, exaggerated and fantasy-related in the writing of art history. In this article we will look at the artistic production of Acary Margarida aimed at carnival, with the creation and execution of allegory and changing floats, thus allowing the launch of a new look at the place occupied by these objects.
