Resumo: DOI: 10.12957/dep.2016.16786 Resumo A presente pesquisa busca resgatar a trajetória de algumas feministas brasileiras na década de 1920, destacando a atuação dessas mulheres na luta pelo voto feminino e por educação. Assim, por mais que a virada dos anos 1920 para os anos 1930 seja normalmente associada à transição para o paradigma dos direitos sociais, pretende-se demonstrar, nesse caso particular, como as demandas por direitos sociais estavam imbricadas com as demandas por direitos políticos. Palavras-chave: voto feminino, educação, Primeira República. Abstract This research examines the trajectory of some Brazilian feminists in the 1920s, highlighting the role of these women in the struggle for women's suffrage and education. So, allthough the turn of the 1920s to the 1930s is usually associated with transition to the paradigm of social rights, we intend to demonstrate, in this particular case, that the demands for social rights were intertwined with demands for political rights. Keywords: women's suffrage, education, First Republic.
