Resumo: DOI: 10.1590/2179-8966/2017/31220Resumén El artículo reflexiona sobre las barreras para la aplicación de los derechos de la naturaleza, tanto estructurales como filosóficas y prácticas, y hace un balance crítico de su aplicación después de 10 años de su reconocimiento en la Constitución ecuatoriana. Se recogen las discusiones llevadas a cabo desde la sociedad civil sobrte el reconocimiento de “los otros” para sumarse a la propuesta de la necesidad de una Declaración y un tribunal por los DDNN. Palavras-claves: Naturaleza; Derechos humanos; Medio ambiente. Abstract The article analyses the structural, philosophical and practical barriers to the application of the Rights of Nature and makes a critical assessment of its application after 10 years of its recognition in the Ecuadorian Constitution. It recovers the discussions carried out by the civil society on the recognition of “the others” in order to build the proposal of a Declaration and a Court for the Rights of Nature.
