DOI: 10.12957/dep.2015.12630Resumo O artigo pretende evidenciar a relação que existe, no pensamento de Michel Foucault, entre saber, verdade, poder e direito. Isso será feito a partir de uma breve exposição de alguns elementos mais gerais do pensamento do autor, como sua analítica do poder e o fato de que a verdade não é um absoluto, mas algo que se constitui em práticas determinadas por relações de poder. Após, será exposta a leitura que Foucault realiza sobre a tragédia Édipo Rei, de Sófocles, na medida em que é um dos relatos que melhor exprime a relação poder-saber-direito. Ao final, nas considerações finais, pretende-se articular os principais conceitos examinados no artigo de modo a tornar mais evidente a ligação entre direito e relações de poder, que influenciam drasticamente nas constituições de verdade. Palavras-chave: poder; verdade; direito. Abstract The present paper aims to evidence the relation, in the thought of Michel Foucault, between the knowledge, the truth, power and law. It will be done starting with a brief exposure of some generic themes of the thought of the author, as his analytics of power and the fact that the truth is not absolute, but something that is constituted in practices, determined by power relations. After, it will be evidenced Foucault’s lecture about the tragedy Oedipous the king, from Sophocles, because it is one of the narratives that best expresses the relation power-knowledge-law. At the end, in the final consideration, it intend to articulate the main concepts examined in this article in order to make clear the connection between the law and de power relations, that influence drastically in the truth constitutions.
