This research intent to analyse the interactivity process of TV operating systems for better usability with a system without the use of a physical control. It suggests that, in a soon future, the user will control televisions with spatial control, which compose sensorial actions of the environment through reference meters of distance, orientation, movement, identification and location. Thus, the viewer (user) would control the software and hardware of the TV with the use of his body, through body movements that may generate interactions imputs between man and machine. This can be possible with the evolution of TV sets, from the analog to a digital implementation process that brought changes in programming and content, and this is still a process in deployment and evolution. TV sets that have been transformed into what are now called SmarTVs, having internet access, applications and especially characterize themselves, as well as a personal computer or a cell phone, by the use of operating systems specially developed for TVs. In order to manage guidelines for spatial control, this work intends, through an experiment and the creation of a simulation prototype, to perform tests with volunteers to compose initial parameters to understand more about the interactivity and usability to this technology, composing an analysis of personas through the mapping of their actions. This work intends to contribute to the research in the development of standards and guidelines to be used in TV operating systems, contributing to the development of interaction design for the elaboration of interactive products for future TVs.
