Resumo: The present study proposes to discuss the access and quality of access to health services by trans women in the world. This study is based on a concern through the experience of working in an outpatient clinic specializing in the health of the trans population in the city of Niterói, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, where it was constantly heard, mainly from the users of the service, that that unit was their only way of access to health, about the lack or impossibility of transit through the other levels of health care and the dense experiences lived when they managed to break through the barriers to access these services. Thus, the interest in this study arises, seeking to understand how far the right to access to health is from the reality of these trans and transvestite women, this being built in the years 2021 to 2023, in a temporal scenario where there are humanization policies, free public health systems, policies for the inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community, policies for comprehensive health care for the black population, ordinances and laws aimed at access. This is a scoping review based on the review method proposed by the JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). Initially, the elaboration of the scope review protocol, which was registered on the OSF platform, entitled 'A body in the world' and expanded access to health services by transvestites and transgender women: a scope review. Among the results of the study, a quantity of 1,515 records was retrieved from the databases and 647 records from the gray literature according to the strategies applied. Through peer review, exclusions were made and proceeded to analysis and discussion 45 records from the databases and 9 records from the gray literature. It was concluded from the analysis of these materials the fragility existing in the access of trans women and transvestites to access the health system, and that from the moment they manage to cross all the barriers identified in this study for access, that the quality in that the same thing happens is extremely impaired, endowed with violence in various ways, among other gaps that distance their access to the quality standard experienced by people who are in a place of social and capital power in the world.

Submitted by Eduardo CB/B (duardoribeiro91@gmail.com) on 2023-11-06T17:12:05Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertação - Helena Gonçalves de Souza Santos - 2023 - Completa.pdf: 2221319 bytes, checksum: 06a0c68c5c3e55cba993b5f5a3b0e87e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2023-11-06T17:12:05Z (GMT).
