This dissertation investigates an authorial expression – the one of its author, me – from its genesis, seeking the impetus that leads someone to wish to manifest themselves literarily and which elements have a formative role for this construction of authorship, to the conditions for the insertion of female authors in the literary tradition, considering the way in which we were denied access to the public sphere of recognition as political bodies. This research is conducted both from a perspective of the study of literature and its creation, bringing out the researcher's own authorial voice. In the first section of this dissertation, the concepts and reflections of Judith Butler, Hannah Arendt, Adriana Cavarero and Virginia Woolf are highlighted, establishing a theoretical basis for discussions on the conditions of action, visibility and authorship. In the second section, fairy tales – which represent both a formative reading of childhood and one of the first genres to awaken an impetus to manifest my singularity – are privileged as a field of possibilities for reinterpretations and authorial expression. The contributions of Jack Zipes and Maria Tatar, among other folklorists, in relation to the transformations of the traditional tale and the consolidation of the literary fairy tale, are articulated to the notions of Re-visionism and reorientation, as proposed by Adrienne Rich and Sara Ahmed, respectively. The objective is to consider the possibility of new additions to the immense web of storytelling, proposing contemporary perspectives in dialogue with tradition. From this perspective, the short stories “The Courtship of Mr. Lyon” and “The Tiger's Bride”, by Angela Carter, are analyzed as aesthetic reorientations of the fairy tale. Finally, a reflection on expression, authorship and experience is conducted through an analysis crosses over the writings of Hans Christian Andersen and Conceição Evaristo in their con(fusion) between reality and fiction
