Feminist Geographies are considered to be those which incorporate the theoretical contributions of feminism to the explanation and interpretation of geographic issues, having the gender as one of the results of those contributions; that is, a useful category of geographic analysis. This thesis has as its central theme those perspectives of Feminist Geographies in the analysis of the mechanisms of Territory Management and Planning. The spatial cutout analysed was Dois Rios, Ilha Grande cove, which belongs to the county of Angra dos Reis (RJ). The main objective is to identify the degrees of interaction with the gender category, considering the perceptions of the women who live in the cove, within the actions described in the Planning and Management instruments of the territory of Dois Rios. This way, the object of studies refers to the potential existing in the interaction with the gender category in these instruments. The methodology applied presents the current scenery of contradictions, conflicts or disputes around the management and mechanisms of territorial control. Therefore, it is a proposal of analysis of the instruments, having as its focus the interactions with the gender category and the crossing with what is lived and experienced by the women who live there. The results were systematized in three summary frames, presenting the evaluations of the potential of interaction with the gender category in the instruments of Management within the subjects of Social Function, Infrastructure and the Service and the Transport and Mobility Equipments. From those developments, matrixes of interactions with the gender category were elaborated for each instrument analysed. As a conclusion, it is identified that the majority has been evaluated as high potential of interaction with the gender category. However, the instruments were expressively classified as low degree of interaction, consequently resulting from the influence of the reality lived by the community female dwellers.
