Resumo: The objective of the study was to study the safety climate in the surgical center of a university hospital through the eyes of the multiprofessional team, in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mixed methodology study with concomitant triangulation strategy. The setting was the surgical center of a university hospital in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The measurement was transversal in nature, using the Safety Attitudes Questionnaire/Surgical Center (SAQ/CC). In the qualitative phase, with a descriptive character, a semi-structured interview script was used. A total of 144 health professionals participated in the research, in the weighted approach, and 24 in the qualitative one. The selected data were prepared by program1.0. Qualitative data judged by thematic content. Overall Cronbach's alpha was 0.717, with employee confidence. The mean global SAQ/CC score was 61.94. Communication was made7 there is no 'Communication,91' domain). Significant difference (p<0.001) between the nursing teams and in the domains 'Perception of stress', 'Communication in the surgical environment' and 'Perception of professional performance'. In the interviews, the following categories emerged: COVID-19 Protocol, Patient Protocol, Feelings, Workload, Management Attitude and Communication. It is concluded that the security climate has weaknesses, translated by the majority of scores below compliance. It is suggested that new studies be carried out in the scope, between in order to deepen a theme, several safety scenarios studied with a mixed study, an end of national power in the future, and intensifying the patient's pandemic climate, especially in scenarios such as the comparison pandemic. COVID-19.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertacao - Ana Regina Ramos Azevedo Fernandes - 2022 - completa.pdf: 2714900 bytes, checksum: abfbb047e7046fade0d905ce89f9338d (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2023-01-06T14:01:06Z (GMT). description The objective of the study was to study the safety climate in the surgical center of a university hospital through the eyes of the multiprofessional team, in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19.
