This research aims to construct subjective images of the enunciator present in the column of Ancelmo Gois, of the newspaper O Globo, privileging the linguistic constitutions that aim at the autonomic modalization. In this way, we try to prove the relation between the linguistic elements selected in the column and the effect produced by them. To do so, we will qualitatively analyze the constituents of a year of columns produced in the period from June 2015 to June 2016. Moreover, as a theoretical basis, the Maingueneau, Amossy and Authier-Revuz notes were foundations for this work. From this analysis, we intend to identify the ethos present in each report contemplated. Our intention, therefore, is to discuss the construction of the discursive ethos in the journalistic text, more precisely in column of opinion. For this, we will approach the occurrences of linguistic-discursive marks that evidence the subjectivity and reveal its intentionality, as well as, help in the construction of the ethos in the enunciative scene
