The history of human and non-human life has been performed from the shifts in its various nuances and ways of existing. From the tectonic plates to the microparticles of sand, passing through ourselves and our desires. In this way, we decided to researchWITH the travel- displacements, follow the paths of people, mostly women, moving around the world, occupying spaces, tracing routes and producing new story-versions of their relationships with themselves and the world. We were in Manjerona Settlement, in the lower-south region of Bahia and Vale do Capão, in Chapada Diamantina also in Bahia, and France, in Paris and its surroundings. We immersed days, weeks and months. We talked, interviewed, cooked, sang, danced, we listened, we cared, we learned to care. That was our methodology of researchingWITH. On the routes we traveled, we met people in a situation of migration, people moving to fight for land, people living and taking care of themselves and others from the relationship with the land. In these meetings, we were able to thinkWITH the displacements and the relationships established with them, reflectingWITH the ways of living and caring. Experiencing all that, we produced and carried the retirância-mulher in our body, which was performed each meeting and performing us as a woman-researcher-in-retreat. We met with epistemologies of the south to produce northeastern epistemologies, in alliance with all those actors who inhabited that journey. Here we are and from here we will follow.
