Only fifty meters separate the rich from the poor community of Badu in Pendotiba, Oceanic Region of Niterói. To be more precise, there is only one road that divides two such distinct realities: the right side of a poor community and left many middle-class condominiums.That is, on the one hand, electric power supplied by the company's energy council, clean and plentiful water, treated sewage and regular garbage collection. And across the imaginary line'' (but very real) is a clandestine population using energy, using water of dubious origin for bathing, cooking, laundry and living with garbage near their homes . Such differences did emerge that the desire to learn more about this peculiar universe in which two worlds coexisted in a manner so foreign to each other.The methodological perspective of this study aimed to seek to learn and describe how the beneficiaries of Bolsa Família understand the benefit and how they feel'' as'' the chosen program from interviews with them. Started from the assumption that despite research reveal an obvious improvement in general living conditions of beneficiaries, some aspects concerning the perception of beneficiaries about the program, the impact on their lives and the vision they have of themselves had not been contemplated by these surveys - the exception of the study of IBASE (2008) which the script guides the present work. Therefore, the need to conduct a survey in which the main tool of analysis is the'' lines'' of the respondents is of paramount importance to clarify and bring to light various aspects ignored by character studies strongly quantitative. In interviews conducted for the field research could trace the lines that identify the face of the beneficiaries of Bolsa Família residents of the community of Badu. They are mostly single women, with an average of two children who are raised by them without the help of his father. Are unemployed and live exclusively feature the receiving program. This money is used to cover all household expenses such as food, clothing, medicines and school supplies. They all dream of getting a job to leave to depend on the effectiveness of the program and dream of a better future for their children. After performing the analisys of field research of this study and some research related to the impact of the BolsaFamília in the lives of its beneficiaries, it can be stated that the social programs that have been implemented by the Federal Government is not aware of the heterogeneity of needs and demands of their target population.Therefore, I consider that this is the time that academic research should go into a new era in the field of evaluation of social programs, especially the policies of the Conditional Cash Transfer that, because of its continuity, allocate an amount of resources each growing and may even elect politicians who use it as a bargaining chip.
