We unveiled the world of work and daily life, especially women, within the rubber plantations in Amazonas between 1950 and 1970, understanding that this period includes political changes for the North region, such as, for example, the implementation of the Superintendence of the Plan for Economic Valorization of the Amazon - SPVEA and later the creation of SUDAM during the military dictatorship. Our objective was to investigate the work of women in the rubber plantations, knowing that they carried out a series of activities, seeking to survive in Amazonas. We believe that the developmental policies implemented in the region during this period, allied to the plans that were constructed seeking to occupy the region, brought about changes in the daily work routine of these women, in their production and conflicts concerning the degradation of the forests. In this way, we will give more attention to women's work, focusing on the difficulties these women workers faced in the aforementioned work space and giving visibility to the services they performed in the rubber plantation areas.
