Arpilleras da Serra Queimada: a resistência e a valorização dos saberes da comunidade do campo

Resumo: The present research refers to a study in the city of Cachoeiras de Macacu, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, it values the rural knowledge, adopting a perspective derived from the ideological model of literacy, experienced by the students of a rural school of the educational network of the city of Cachoeiras de Macacu called Colônia Agrícola Knust, permeated by beliefs, values, work, conflicts, restrictions and knowledge of the rural community of Serra Queimada, where it is inserted. In order to develop the research we used an embroidery technique called Arpilleras, which originated in Chile at the end of the decade of 1960 it served to express, through art, human rights violations during the Pinochet dictatorship in this country between 1973 and 1990. In Brazil, this technique has been widely disseminated by the Movement of People Affected by Dams, in the regions that suffer the impacts of these great constructions, listening to the "voice" of the repressed and excluded who suffer with the expropriation of the lands, with the change in their daily life because of violence and repression, with the loss of work, of memories of their community, of the rural school and the rural culture, having their rights denied by the State. We conducted a study based on the methodology of action research, in which there is a simultaneous process generating shared knowledge through research and promoting the resolution of problems by means of action, in a participatory manner. The implementation of this action plan consisted in the confection of pedagogical Arpilleras with the students of multi-series classes from the 1st to 5th school year of this rural school, which through its multimodal, served as research instruments and allowed to value the culture, the knowledge and the rural literacy, with these students who are in situation of vulnerability with the threat of the Guapiaçu River dam, which cuts through this community. Our theoretical foundations are based on street's concepts of ideological literacy, removing the focus of traditional literacy approaches, bringing to the research an innovative stand of resistance and politics, in the literacy as social practice. I believe that this research can contribute to consolidate the proposal for a quality education for the countryside and that, through the collective, strengthen the community and the local culture for the people to exercise their sovereignty.

I believe that this research can contribute to consolidate the proposal for a quality education for the countryside and that, through the collective, strengthen the community and the local culture for the people to exercise their sovereignty.A presente pesquisa refere-se a um estudo no município de Cachoeiras de Macacu (RJ), que se dispôs a valorizar os saberes do campo, adotando uma perspectiva de um modelo ideológico de letramento, vivenciado pelos alunos da Escola Estadual Municipalizada Colônia Agrícola Knust, permeado por crenças, valores, trabalho, conflitos, restrições e saberes da comunidade rural de Serra Queimada (RJ), onde está inserida. Para desenvolver a pesquisa foi utilizada uma técnica de bordado chamada Arpilleras, que se originou no Chile no final da década de 1960, e serviu para expressar, através da arte, as violações dos direitos humanos, durante a ditadura de Pinochet neste país entre 1973 a 1990. No Brasil, essa técnica tem sido amplamente difundida pelo Movimento dos Atingidos por Barragens, nas regiões que sofrem os impactos dessas grandes construções, ouvindo a voz dos reprimidos e desprestigiados que sofrem com a desapropriação das terras, mudança de seu cotidiano com a violência e repressão, da perda do trabalho, das memórias de sua comunidade, da escola do campo e da cultura rural, tendo seus direitos negados pelo Estado. Foi realizado um estudo baseado na metodologia da pesquisa-ação, em que ocorre um processo simultâneo gerando conhecimento compartilhado através da pesquisa e promovendo a resolução de problemas por meio da ação, de forma participativa. A execução deste plano de ação foi a confecção de Arpilleras pedagógicas com os alunos de turmas multisseriadas do 1º ao 5º ano escolar desta escola do campo, que por meio da sua multimodalidade, serviram de instrumentos de pesquisa e permitiram valorizar a cultura, os saberes e os letramentos do campo, com os alunos que estão em situação de vulnerabilidade com a ameaça da barragem do Rio Guapiaçu, que corta a comunidade. As bases teóricas deste trabalho fundamentam-se nos conceitos de letramento ideológico de Street, retirando o foco de abordagens tradicionais, trazendo para a pesquisa um olhar inovador de resistência e política, nos letramentos como prática social.
