People with disabilities are part of society, regardless of prestige or marginalization. This fact suffers oscillation due to the historical, social, political and economic context. In this way, for communicational equity to be achieved, including in the educational context, it is necessary to use accessibility resources, such as audio description. Audio description is a modality of intersemiotic translation that enables the conversion of information from the visual to the verbal sign, which must be inserted in the most diverse situations, including in the process of developing musical education. Therefore, this work, which is developed by a visually impaired person, has as its general objective to discuss the importance of knowledge about inclusive musical education in formal and informal teaching environments. With this, it is intended,as specific objectives, to understand the process of musical education and the promotion of development and learning from a motor, cognitive, affective and inclusive perspective; demonstrate audio description as an accessibility resource for communicationand as a possibility of pedagogical mediation resource for the development of knowledge; and understand the role of the education professional who works or is interested in acting as mediator in music in the perspective of inclusive education, expanding the possibilities of reading the world. The methodology adopted is qualitative, of the action research type.From a data collect to know the state-of-the-art, it was observed that there are no works on this specific topic. Therefore, the method chosen was to offer a course in musical education with audio description, 100% remote, targeting a group of 20 education professionals over 18 years of age, interested in the subject.The production of data occurred from the crossing of information collected from a questionnaire with 19 questions that was answered in two stages by the participants, recordings of the 12 synchronous meetings that took place during the development of the course and the activities that were developed by the participants.It was concluded that audio description can and should be used as a pedagogical resource in the context of musicaleducation development, as the group participating in the course demonstrated an understanding of the fundamentals of musicaleducation and audio description; understood how to use the accessibility resource in the most diverse educational situations; was aware of the necessary adaptations to meet the specificities of the most diverse students; and elaboratednumerous innovative possibilities based on what was studied.
