Perversão: um fazer gozar

This study concerns perversion, a very important topic in political and clinical psychoanalysis, which reveals itself as one of the crucial problems of psychoanalysis. Its political importance is conveyed when it emphasizes, with Lacan, that the policy of psychoanalysis is the policy of lack-of-being (want-to-be) related to the ethics of desire and when it proposes to accept the diversity of enjoyment, its multiple genres, and takes the subject to reveal and confront his/her surplus-enjoyment, is an ethical indication that should guide policy and practice of psychoanalysis. The research, drawn from Freud and Lacan s theoretical-clinical fundamentals, emphasizes the logical move which marks the perversion in Freudian theory and confirms a convergence in the propositions of both authors with regard to the differentiation between perversity and perversion as a clinical structure. The construction of a series of clinical cases and the study of life and work of five famous writers Marquis de Sade, Sacher-Masoch, André Gide, Jean Genet, Yukio Mishima come to illustrate that the practices of perverse enjoyment does not determine the perverse structure . The mathema of sadian fantasy, forged by Lacan, is taken to demonstrate freudian Verleugnung, the way perverse subjects deal with castration of the mother/wife. The quantic formulaes of sexuation, formulated by Lacan, are used to highlight that the difference between neurosis and perversion becomes explicit in the strategy of enjoyment that the subject uses in the relationship with his/her partner. The research, which began bibliographical and developed into a theoretical-clinical character, reveals that the perversion clinical practice can teach psychoanalysts about the four fundamental concepts of psychoanalysis, about the relationship among the fetish, the mask and the face, about sublimation, about enjoyment strategies, in particular, masochism. This study calls for the analytical community to debate, because it expresses, by presenting cases of perversion, the difficulties of the clinic, besides presentifying the real clinic in conducting the treatment of a case of perversion.
