The study analyzes the grammatical words, specifically, prepositions and conjunctions, under the stylistic bias, seeking to prove that even the words typically seen in their syntactical role as connecting elements can take significant values that contribute to the construction meanings of a text, in this case, the advertising text. It shows the relationship of the Stylistic with the functions of the predominant language in the genre of advertising, highlighting its characteristics, communicative purpose and its relevance in the current world. With the selection of commercials aired in Veja magazine in six months, it is revealed that the expressiveness is not restricted to words of extralinguistic meaning. The research is presented as a proposal for mother-tongue teaching, since it suggests a new approach to the connectives, seen in a very productive gender in the classroom, because they are present in the daily lives of students, with features that attract them, such as creativity, expressiveness and humor. The articulation between the stylistic, advertising and connective enables a more applied teaching because it allows verify such words entered in a text, circulating in social spheres and which seeks the expressiveness to draw the attention of its recipients. It also shows the implications in the text generated by the use of certain prepositions and conjunctions, and its absence or exchange, fleeing from a teaching focused especially on grammatical correctness, in which lists of meanings for the classes shown in this study are privileged, but not a teaching that applies them in contexts in order to explore possible meanings and expressive alternatives. Emphasize that the words of intralinguistic significance have expressive potential and are therefore effective instruments in mother-tongue teaching is the objective of this study
