Resumo: The theme of this dissertation is the plea bargaining and the word of the collaborator as a evidence and an instrument of search for truth. Its main objectives are to analyze plea bargaining as a proof-of-fact research tool for discovering the truth and value the collaborator's word in this context. For development, it begins with a brief excursion for the fundamentals of Procedural Law, during which its roles are recalled before society and the State. In this section, it is said en passant about the neo-constitutionalist movement. Next, we discuss the purpose of the process, the importance of truth in resolving conflicts, theories about truth and the function of proof. In sequence, we discuss the purpose of the process, the importance of truth in resolving conflicts, theories about truth and the function of evidence. Once these relations have been established, the institute of plea bargaining, its historical aspects, its application in comparative law, and the influence of foreign legal systems on the construction of a national model are analyzed. We seek to trace the legal nature of the plea bargaining, its requirements and species. Finally, the problem issue is challenged in light of Brazilian criminal procedural law and foreign law, at which time the procedure for collecting the testimony of the awardee will be checked, compared with other evidentiary instruments, and the value of the complainant's word as an element of conviction of the judge

Seus objetivos principais são analisar a colaboração premiada como ferramenta de pesquisa de prova para descoberta da verdade e valorar a palavra do colaborador neste contexto. Para desenvolvimento, inicia-se com uma breve excursão pelos fundamentos do Direito Processual, durante a qual são rememorados seus papéis perante a sociedade e o Estado. Nesta quadra, comenta-se en passant sobre o movimento neoconstitucionalista. A seguir, discorre-se sobre a finalidade do processo, a importância da verdade na resolução dos conflitos, as teorias sobre a verdade e a função da prova. Estabelecidas essas relações, passa-se a analisar o instituto da colaboração premiada, seus aspectos históricos, sua aplicação no direito comparado e a influência dos ordenamentos jurídicos estrangeiros na construção de um modelo nacional. Ato contínuo, busca-se traçar a natureza jurídica da colaboração premiada, seus requisitos e espécies.
