Resumo: The work presented depicts some reflections and an artistic production in the field of the flows, in a broad sense. In this text, it is aimed to verify the experience of displacement of many individuals originated from peripheric areas from great Rio de Janeiro and intermediated by African-based music. A theoretical research is then conducted on the marginal expressions that were criminalized by the public opinion in Brazil and also about the formation of the first favelas under the viewpoint of the Right to the City. Throughout this work, some oeuvres were produced within the scope of the video, the intervention and the installation, that identify these displacements in the city as possibilities of affirmation and motivation of the individuals
