Resumo: | The present study it searched to understand as the professional education and technological it is constructed in a federal institute of education, science and technology from a ethnographic study carried through to the light of the actor network theory brother-in-law for Bruno Latour and Michel Callon. The federal institutes are part of the expansion politics of the professional and technological education, established in the governments of former-Lula´s and Dilma Roussef. Amongst the objectives of such actions they meet to increase the school registrations in the level technician integrated to the medium and to take education of quality for the interior of the country. The networks had been the used analytical tools that had allowed to identify as the actions are distributed and as the practical ones are constituted by the nets of fragile and perennial relations between people, things and hybrids. The colloquies stopped with professors, servers and students do not distinguish humanistic and scientific, administrative and pedagogical, scientific fields and politicians and had pointed with respect to controversies that had collaborated to open the box-black color of this reality. The actors had counted creation histories and reverse creation of these institutes and were possible to perceive that subjects as environment, sustainability, alimentary security and others are gifts in the practical academic for distributive and auto-referring actions. The story can contribute for the field of the ambient education in order to present new ways for the sustainability, not individual or based in the critical theory, but, in the collective construction of a new world common, but not only. |

The story can contribute for the field of the ambient education in order to present new ways for the sustainability, not individual or based in the critical theory, but, in the collective construction of a new world common, but not only.A presente pesquisa buscou compreender como a educação profissional e tecnológica é construída em um instituto federal de educação, ciência e tecnologia a partir de um estudo etnográfico, realizado à luz da teoria ator-rede cunhada por Bruno Latour e Michel Callon. Os institutos federais fazem parte da política de expansão da educação profissional e tecnológica, estabelecida nos governos do ex-Presidente Luís Inácio Lula da Silva (2003-2010) e da Presidente Dilma Roussef que em 2015 está no seu segundo mandato e ocupa o cargo desde 2011. Dentre os objetivos de tais ações, encontram-se aumentar as matrículas no nível técnico integrado ao médio e levar educação de qualidade para o interior do país. As redes sociotécnicas foram as ferramentas analíticas utilizadas que permitiram identificar como as ações são distribuídas e como as práticas são constituídas pelas redes de relações frágeis e perenes entre pessoas, coisas e híbridos. As conversas travadas com professores, servidores e estudantes não distinguem campos humanísticos e científicos, administrativos e pedagógicos, científicos e políticos e apontaram para controvérsias que colaboraram para abrir as caixas-pretas dessa realidade. Os próprios atores contaram as histórias de criação e recriação desses institutos e foi possível perceber que temas como meio ambiente, sustentabilidade, segurança alimentar e outros estão presentes na prática acadêmica por ações distributivas e autorreferentes que revelam modos de vida e trabalho presentes dentro e fora dos muros da instituição onde a pesquisa se realizou.
