Resumo: The present work aims to critically analyze the conceptions and perspectives of intersectoriality elaborated in the academic productions of Social Work in Health policy, linked to the database of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). In view of the complexity of reality, the disarticulation between sectors and the need to confront the worsening expressions of the social issue, the intersectoral debate has been gaining prominence in the social policy agenda. However, it is still permeated with challenges both at the conceptual and interventional levels. This study consists of a literature review, of a qualitative nature, seeking to characterize the state of the art of theses and dissertations on the subject. The survey results show that intersectorality has not been consolidated as a structural guideline for the management and implementation of social policies. And in collective health work, social workers - due to their training, object of work, technical capacity for apprehension and intervention in reality - have been required to act in the articulation between policies, sectors, social assistance and professional services, in the responses to expressions of the social question. Social Work has advanced in the discussion of the theme based on the critical-dialectical conception, by seeking to correlate the theme with social processes, the dimension of totality and categories of critical theory, although a tendency towards eclecticism persists. The results show that the concept of intersectorality within the scope of Social Service in health has different meanings: in the perspective of management, aimed at the joint construction of the processes of planning, evaluation and execution between sectors; also understood as a managerial mechanism of efficiency and effectiveness; integrality, related to the articulation of the different levels of determination of the health-disease process aimed at health care and access to rights in a dimension of totality; of complementarity between sectors, understood as the articulation of knowledge and experiences in the resolution of complex issues and also of networking and integrality, pointed out as a strategy to fully meet social needs. Therefore, the research shows that, despite the countless challenges, in the face of the state's retraction in the social area, dismantling of rights, precarious work, social workers carry out intersectoral articulations and actions and can contribute to their construction in the critical perspective, aiming at the completeness of actions and theoretical, practical and social transformations.

Submitted by Juliana CCS/A (ju.salescastro@gmail.com) on 2023-01-25T16:36:56Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertação - Ivanilda Vitoriano de Figueredo FINAL - 2021 - completa.pdf: 880972 bytes, checksum: 1fb597fcfc75e104321b9eefd515cd7a (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2023-01-25T16:36:57Z (GMT).
