A infância na universidade: A criança enunciada na Escola de Educação Infantil da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro

Resumo: This thesis deals with childhood in the university, investigating more specifically the child in the School of Early Childhood Education of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (EEI-UFRJ). The research analyzes documents from different instances and sectors of UFRJ that refer to EEI-UFRJ, seeking traces of childhood in the institution. The corpus of documents investigated is composed of minutes, pedagogical proposal, master plan, resolutions, statutes, regiments, reports, newsletters and others, from 2011 to 2018. The choice of the starting year being 2011 was due to the year of Resolution No. 1, from March 10, by the National Education Council, which established operating norms of the Child Education units linked to the Federal Direct Public Administration, its municipalities and foundations, significantly affecting the existence of federal university education units (UUFEI's). For the analysis of the documents we have as reference the studies of Bardin, in order to understand the way that the UFRJ has seen the childhood through the EEI-UFRJ. The theoretical-analytical referential privileged the Studies of Childhood, with emphasis on the Sociology of Childhood, with Manuel Sarmento as the main interlocutor, to think about a polyphonic childhood; the studies of Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Marilena Chaui and João dos Reis Silva Júnior are also adopted to discuss the role of the university in contemporary times and to understand the crisis in and of the university and its relationship with marginalized knowledge, such as those of childhood. The concepts of Southern Epistemologies, Ecology of Knowledge and Abyssal Thinking, by Boaventura Souza Santos, point out possible paths for a university counterproposal that includes the knowledge of childhood, and that these make up the multidisciplinary knowledge. The analysis in the crossing of the data points to an erasure of childhood in the documents found, but childhood resists in the university, which produces an announcing tension of forces that confront different generations and university projects, which are constituting UFRJ.

A pesquisa analisa documentos de diferentes instâncias e setores da UFRJ que remetem à EEI-UFRJ, buscando rastros da infância na instituição. O corpus de documentos investigados é composto por atas, proposta pedagógica, plano diretor, resoluções, estatutos, regimentos, reportagens, boletins informativos e outros, do período compreendido entre 2011 e 2018. A escolha do ano de 2011 se deu justamente por ser o ano da publicação da Resolução nº 1, de 10 de março, pelo Conselho Nacional de Educação, que fixou normas de funcionamento das unidades de Educação Infantil ligadas à Administração Pública Federal direta, suas autarquias e fundações, afetando significativamente a existência das unidades universitárias federais de educação infantil (UUFEI’s). Para análise dos documentos se tem como referência os estudos de Bardin, no sentido de compreender a forma que a UFRJ tem visto a infância através da EEI-UFRJ. O referencial teórico-analítico privilegiou os Estudos da Infância, com ênfase na Sociologia da Infância, tendo Manuel Sarmento como principal interlocutor, para pensar uma infância polifônica; adota-se ainda os estudos de Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Marilena Chaui e João dos Reis Silva Júnior para discutir o papel da universidade na contemporaneidade e compreender a crise na e da universidade e sua relação com saberes marginalizados, como os da infância. Os conceitos de Epistemologias do Sul, Ecologia de Saberes e Pensamento Abissal, de Boaventura Souza Santos, apontam caminhos possíveis para uma contraproposta universitária que inclua os saberes da infância, e que esses componham os saberes pluriversitários.
