Resumo: The number of hospital infections caused by multi-resistant bacteria in the Brazilian hospital network is signi cant and represents a public health problem. Thus, the research group on computational modeling of multidrug-resistant bacteria Fiocruz in order to investigate this problem developed software for the analysis of multidrug-resistant bacteria. However, the software was an in-house development with a lack of quality standards. With the need to expand the software to the international community, the objective of this work arose, which was to carry out improvement processes that were later evaluated by the users of the systems themselves, the improvements and the results of the evaluations are documented in the present work. As a metric for evaluating software quality, ISO 25010 was used, since ISO 25010 is one of the internationally recognized evaluation standards in software evaluation from a software engineering perspective. This model is considered a valid, reliable and e cient standard in assessing the quality of the software. The characteristics of ISO/IEC 25010 are able to provide a good reference for evaluating FIOCRUZ's Multiresistant Bacteria analysis software. In this research, the quality assessment was done through online forms. This evaluation is carried out to verify if the improvements were e ective or if there was still any characteristic of the software that needs to be improved. The users in this case are the researchers. The assessment is focused on the characteristics of functional suitability, reliability, usability and performance e ciency. Based on the evaluation results, we obtained that all the evaluation characteristics proposed by ISO/IEC 25010 were well evaluated and improved in relation to the previous version of the software.

Submitted by Bárbara CTC/A (babalusotnas@gmail.com) on 2023-08-09T15:04:42Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertação - Khalil Beltrão Pereira - 2021 - Completa.pdf.pdf: 5411422 bytes, checksum: e845084e2f65c6478ceca4de1be83ae1 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2023-08-09T15:04:42Z (GMT). Thus, the research group on computational modeling of multidrug-resistant bacteria Fiocruz in order to investigate this problem developed software for the analysis of multidrug-resistant bacteria.
