O ensino de libras como L2 na formação de professores bilíngues em curso de pedagogia: uma perspectiva da linguística aplicada.

Resumo: The aim of this thesis is to analyze and understand the limits and potentiality of teaching of Libras as a second language (L2) in the Pedagogy course in a distance modality course - from a bilingual perspective - from the perspective of the hearing students. The decree N. 5.626 of 2005, which regulated the Law No. 10.436 of 2002 and the Art. 18 of the Law No. 10.098 of 2000, which provides for the teaching of Libras as a curricular discipline. In addition, there is also the updating of the Law of guidelines and bases of National Education, with the Law No. 14.191 of 2021, which includes the modality of deaf bilingual education. Therefore, there is a need for bilingual training for those professionals who will act in this modality. The INES' distance Pedagogy course offers the teaching of Libras to deaf students as a first language (L1) and to the listeners (students) as a second language, however, the focus of this research is aimed at the hearing students. Such a course intends to meet a demand for training teachers to act, as a priority, in the education of the deaf people. The research related to face-to-face teaching of a foreign language has already been cataloged, but the research on how to learn a second language for those who take distance courses is just beginning and this is a promising field of study for anyone who works with the development of education in general and the language teaching in particular. Based on the studies of Applied Linguistics (LA), in a qualitative perspective, this thesis proposes the creation of a LA to the teaching of Sign Language, which can bring benefits for the initial and continuing training of teachers, improving their linguistic skills and teaching and learning process in bilingual schools, bilingual classes, regular schools or in a bilingual education center of the deaf people, where Libras should be used as a language of instruction, as well as the Portuguese, written. Thus, a field survey was carried out, using as data collection instruments questionnaires applied to hearing students who were enrolled in the three levels of the discipline of Libras, in 13 poles of this course, in the five regions of the country. For this research, a questionnaire was prepared with 23 opens questions, with the google form tool. The questionnaire was answered individually by hearing students cursing between the fifth and the seventh period of the disciplines of Libras. In total, 34 responses were received that were tabulated and analyzed giving rise to the results of the survey. We deduced from the answers that it is ideal that in teacher training courses to work in contexts of bilingual education for the deaf people, the disciplines are ministered directly in Libras, questions of cultural and identity subjectivity be guaranteed and that the actions leave the field of theory and that they meet the practice. Finally, considering the results achieved, it is suggested to increase the workload of the Libras subject in order to better meet the demand of deaf students in different bilingual schools contexts.

O Decreto nº 5.626 de 2005, que regulamentou a Lei nº 10.436 de 2002 e o art. 18 da Lei 10.098 de 2000, dispõe sobre o ensino da Libras como disciplina curricular. Além disso, há também a atualização da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional, com a Lei nº 14.191 de 2021, que inclui a modalidade de Educação Bilíngue de Surdos. Vê-se, então, a necessidade de uma formação bilíngue para os profissionais que atuarão nessa modalidade. O Curso de Pedagogia a distância do INES oferece o ensino da Libras para os alunos surdos como L1 e ouvintes como L2, porém, o foco desta pesquisa destina-se aos alunos ouvintes. Tal curso pretende atender a uma demanda de formação de professores para atuarem, prioritariamente, na educação de surdos. As pesquisas relativas ao ensino presencial de uma língua estrangeira já foram catalogadas, porém as pesquisas de como se dá o aprendizado de uma segunda língua, por aquele que faz curso na modalidade de Educação a Distância estão apenas iniciando e esse é um campo promissor de estudos para todo aquele que trabalha com desenvolvimento da educação, em geral, e do ensino de línguas, em particular. Com base nos estudos da Linguística Aplicada (LA), em uma perspectiva qualitativa, esta tese propõe a criação de uma LA ao Ensino de Língua de Sinais, que poderá trazer benefícios para a formação inicial e continuada de professores, aprimorando as suas habilidades linguísticas e o processo de ensino e aprendizagem nas escolas bilíngues, classes bilíngues, escolas comuns ou em polo de Educação Bilíngue de Surdos onde se deve utilizar a Libras como língua de instrução, assim como a Língua Portuguesa escrita. Desse modo, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo, utilizando como instrumentos de coleta de dados questionários aplicados junto a alunos ouvintes matriculados nos três níveis da disciplina de Libras, nos 13 polos desse curso, nas cinco regiões do país. Para essa pesquisa, foi elaborado um questionário com 23 perguntas abertas, com a ferramenta Formulário Google. O questionário foi respondido individualmente por alunos ouvintes cursando entre o quinto e sétimo período das disciplinas de Libras. No total, foram recebidas 34 respostas que foram tabuladas e analisadas, dando origem aos resultados da pesquisa.
