O pequeno mundo próprio das crianças e a Folia de Reis dos Penitentes do Santa Marta

Resumo: Children's Own Little World and the Folia de Reis of Penitents from Santa Marta s main purpose is to study and investigate the relationships between children, residents from the favela and the Folia de Reis - a traditional and popular gathering - from the kids' point of view. The affirmative "a child serves as an allegory of whatever is thought about the peopole" (CERTEAU), has provoked and conducted this investigation. What is the connection between these two social categories and how do the kids from the favela and the Folia - in their own little worlds - have their image dissected by oficial culture. How can they oppose - through laughter and their particular language - to the official culture, to the winners (Benjamin)? Research was ignited by the concept of childhood as a social category capable of creating culture, with potential and potency to establish and change the invisible spot imposed by our modern times, after all "he, who is small disappears" according to Wim Wenders. Research was developed under a Benjaminian conceptual political perspective that reverberated dialogue issues "between generations as a condition to cultural fertility and the communion of experiences: one generation stimulates the other, through the memory of attles fought and as an everlasting story project". (RIBES PEREIRA, p.46, 2012). In a pursuit for a proximity of the meanings brought in by the kids to the Folia and the world, we notice a connection with Walter Benjamin (History concepts), in a dialogue with Mikhail Bakthin (Carnival Theory, otherness and dialogic approach), Rita Ribes Pereira and Solange Jobim e Souza (language and childhood experiences; and research with kids) and Adair Rocha in a field of reflections about popular culture and religion

A ideia de que a criança serve de alegoria daquilo que se pensa do povo (Certeau), problematizou e conduziu os caminhos desta investigação. Que relação há entre essas duas categorias sociais e como as crianças do Morro e a folia, em seus pequenos Mundos, tem suas imagens forjadas pela cultura oficial? Como elas conseguem se opor, pelo riso e suas narrativas e linguagens próprias, à cultura oficial, aos Vencedores de plantão (BENJAMIN)? Para realizar a pesquisa, partimos do conceito de infância como categoria social, produtora de cultura, com potência a configurar e alterar o lugar de invisibilidade que lhe foi imposta pela nossa época afinal, o que é pequeno desaparece segundo Wim Wenders. A pesquisa seguiu `a luz de uma perspectiva política conceitual benjaminiana dando eco às questões de dialogo entre as gerações como condição de fertilidade da cultura e comunicação das experiências: uma geração faz a outra despertar, seja como memória das lutas já vividas, seja como projeto de uma história vindoura (RIBES PEREIRA, p.46, 2012).
