This thesis has as object the contributions of the academic-professional contributions published at the XV and XVI Brazilian Congress of Social Workers (XV CBAS, 2016; XI CBAS, 2019) and at the XV e XVI National Meeting of Social Work Researchers (XV ENPESS, 2016; XVI ENPESS, 2018), regarding the job of Social Workers on the Judiciary. This is a qualitative research based on the state-of-the-art molds, in other words, the research and the theoretical-bibliographic review, with reference to the annals of these national events of Social Service. This study’s relevance lays on the fact of the Judiciary being the biggest employer of Social Workers professionals, among the socio-occupational spaces that that compose the socio-legal and, by the research review, know what’s being produced, what are the main issues and what the future studies suggests. It was observed that the Judiciary has been doubly suffering impacts of contemporary and this because, on the one hand, facing of state's spending cuts on public and social policies, there is an increase in demands through the judicialization of expressions of the social issue. Furthermore, since 2005, with the changes in work management and the institutionalization of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), as instance of control, there is the insertion of proposals based on the private managerial logic with measures that directly interfere in the collective work processes of the Judiciary, including those in which the social worker is inserted. It is considered that the review of the academic-professional production published in these central events of the Brazilian Social Service helped to understand how the work of social workers in the Judiciary takes place, some of its characteristics and main demands, under the impacts of the transformations of capitalist society and that have been affecting by it. The study also draws attention to the need to advance school-professional production on the professional work of Social Work in the Judiciary.
