The spoken writing that is presented in this dissertation is an invitation to effective coalitions for improvements in the Brazilian scenario of attention to pregnancy, childbirth, birth and puerperium from the realization of women's sexual and reproductive rights. From a dive into the way this writing is built, the thread of the construction of the object of this study, the paths that structure it from the lived experience and its concept as Bondía (2002) approaches, I present the encounters and disagreements in the realization of women's rights through the daily experiences of professional practice, sewn to the meanings, challenges and memories awakened in the interaction with women, girls and the rights agenda. Through bell hooks I reflect on ways of experience in training that affect and are affected to better care. Based on political landmarks and advances in SUS public policies, in terms of care during labor and birth, I describe memories of twenty-two years of professional practice as a nurse. With the data from the Birth in Brazil survey, which reveals the Brazilian obstetric scenario at the beginning of the 21st century, I bring reflections on one of the greatest guidelines to be faced for the real humanization of childbirth and birth and all health practices in women: the obstetric violence. Sexual and reproductive rights and their construction open the conversation in which I invite to the table of this writing to collectively compose, authors to lend me their written-speech in the intersectional reflection about the maternity of black women and their historically violated rights. Considering that the Stork Network and its Shelter component can be powerful in reducing inequities in the health of pregnant women and newborns, it is necessary to review daily professional practices in health services. In this sense, new content, in addition to protocol, also depends on learning and reflection on rights and violations of these, for the entire multiprofessional network of health care. Learning from experiences, added to technical knowledge, are important guidelines for policies designed for humanized, individualized and respectful care.
