The present work intends to draw a possible dialogue between Psychoanalysis and Nutrition through the Body Image concept. It addresses the peculiarities and nuances of this image, differentiating it from the image of the body. From this distinction we work in a first article entitled "Considerations about the Concept of Body Image in Nutrition and Psychoanalysis" the problematization and the use of the term "Body Image" in the studies that predominate in the field of Food and Nutrition from the psychoanalytic theory. In a second article, entitled "Nobody is so perfect that it does not need to be edited: Image as Fetish in the search of an ideal body", we problematize the circulation of images of so-called ideal bodies and their condition of fetish, besides gauging how the formation of groups that choose as ideal common the image of bodies said perfect. We point out the use of the concept of Body Image in academic texts and its use to illustrate only certain aspects of this concept and is therefore used in a simplifying and reductionist way, taking the part as the whole and resulting in an ideology of body aesthetics. We approach the idea of happiness tied to the image of this body, the attempt of corporal management and the spectacularization derived from the possession of skinny body and muscles as a consumer good
