O cuidado às mulheres em situação de violência sexual: interfaces entre a experiência profissional e a vivência pessoal

Sexual violence demands of health care an integral and decisive attention. We have seen, over the years, the deployment of an increasing number of care services for sexual violence that are structured according to the Technical Norm of the Health Ministry. On the other hand, the vast majority of professionals in this service are women, and non-attention to this fact in the training and supervision can have harmful consequences, both for women users, as for professionals. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to identify possible changes in the lives and understanding of professionals on violence against women, based on attendance in sexual violence, and to discuss what kind of interpersonal relations are developed between health professionals and women in situations of sexual violence. This is a qualitative survey with descriptive approach, which was developed in a maternity hospital in Rio de Janeiro, reference to the care of sexual violence against women. Study subjects were health professionals included in the interdisciplinary team to care for sexual violence, a total of three physicians, two social workers and a nurse. The instrument used for data collection was the interview, and for the analysis it was used the technique of content analysis. With this research, it appears that the relational aspect of gender identification interferes with women in situations of sexual violence. This identification is beneficial, but may cause suffering and undermine the professional relationship. The technical service, in some cases is used as a tool to overcome difficulties, but it does not guarantee quality, while the chips of primary care and monitoring of sexual violence are devices used to replace speech.
