The subject "Ranged Education", with an expansion of utilization of the information technologies, has made itself present nowadays through proposals, discussions and activities made by the education leaders. This pedagogic inovation became a regular feature in the brasilian educational system through a new law called Nacional Education Rules and Bases Law (law number: 9394/96). Due to the emergence of projects like the one from Rio de Janeiro's Ranged Superior Education Association (CEDERJ) and the huge controversy that the introduction of this education feature is creating, it's clear the need to discuss and search the actions and public policies for the democratization of the profissional formation and to pay attention to the social education requirements. We chose the teachers' profile studies as our main subject, delineating a paralel between the work of this professionals and the so called tradicional teachers. Our main point is to identificate who are the teachers and their profile specifications, including the discussion of aspects like degrees, atuation and political-pedagogic practices. It worths to say that our studies are originated from academics experiments and researches, therefore, to set the basis of the present study we count with the pertinent literature review and the observation in the very own CEDERJ unities.
