Entre fontes e jornalistas: a seleção das vozes na construção das notícias na BandNews e na CBN

This research aims to analyze the source selection processes in the local and daily production of All News broadcasters such as CBN and BandNews in different work contexts. Conceptual debates provide a deepening of working relationships and the construction of news about the social, economic, political and historical perspective of radio journalism. Thus, we go through the theories of journalism and the classification of sources in the area, the concepts of expanded and hypermedia radio, the historical phases of the medium focusing on the informative context, the rise of the multitasking professional and the profile of the journalist sitting and absent from the stage of events. In addition, it proposes the heterogeneous specificity of the interpretive community and the journalistic tribe by sharing professional values in the area as a whole, in radio journalism and in relation to sources. In the data collection and analysis protocols, semi-structured interviews are conducted with journalists from different newsroom positions, systematic observation and collection during the same period of the BandNews Rio 1st Edition, CBN Rio and CBN Ponta Grossa programs focusing on the selected sources. The disparities between professionalized and unprofessional agents and the influence of economic-political power act directly in the absence of diversification of interpretations of events. The analysis of the data indicates specific questions in the theoretical scope of the research on the radio journalism: in the first moment, the selection of the sources in the informative radio demands gatekeeping and gatewatching processes that prevail the intrinsic characteristics to the environment; The second point is the spiral-shaped language that, in live broadcasting, distributes the sources throughout the programming in a text different from other journalistic platforms; and finally, the conceptual distinction between diversity and plurality within the scope of the voices that make up the radio news and the themes in which they fit into everyday life
