Resumo: The current research, based on the iconographic evidence of the myth of Niobe found in the Greek s ceramics universe, aims to leverage the meaningful context of the images from two distinct regions: the Greece Balkan Peninsula and Western Greece, in which representations are recognized differently, each of them focused on an isolated point in the narrative. The work seeks out to raise questions about art as a reflection of cultural and social values set out in the two regions, therefore demonstrating the complexity of the myth and its peculiarities
