Resumo: The TV Olho (TV Eye) was an initiative which emerged in Duque de Caxias from 1982 until 1984, the core of action could be schematically categorized into genres that marked that time: Community TV, Street TV, TV Mobile Itinerant, etc. Managed by Publivideo , audiovisual production company created for this purpose, the TV Olho was conveyed through a screen with the projector mounted on the Praça da Emancipação (the actual Praça do Relógio) in the center of Duque de Caxias, there was also sets of television in a cabin of metal (similar to a police cabin or a bus fiscal cabin) located in the same square. For its mobile unit there was a van equipped with projector, screen and audio equipment which went to the neighborhoods to broadcast. The research gained, indexed and described in the files found about TV Olho historicizing the ways of doing the specific modes of visibility and presence done by TV Olho with the context of Duque de Caxias and also taking its parallel with the video motion popular from the early 1980s and also TV stations and newsreels at the time.

The research gained, indexed and described in the files found about TV Olho historicizing the ways of doing the specific modes of visibility and presence done by TV Olho with the context of Duque de Caxias and also taking its parallel with the video motion popular from the early 1980s and also TV stations and newsreels at the time.A Tv Olho foi uma iniciativa que surgiu em Duque de Caxias, em 1982, durando até 1984, cujo cerne de atuação poderia ser, de forma esquemática, categorizado dentro de gêneros que marcaram essa época: Tv Comunitária, Tv de Rua, Tv Móvel Itinerante etc. Gerida pela Publivideo, produtora audiovisual criada para este fim, a Tv Olho foi veiculada através de um telão com projetor montado na Praça da Emancipação (atual Praça do Relógio), no centro da cidade de Duque de Caxias, e também por televisores instalados em uma cabina de metal (que se assemelhava a uma cabina policial ou cabina de fiscal de ônibus) situada na mesma praça e também por sua unidade móvel, uma Kombi equipada com projetor, telão e equipamento de áudio que rodava os bairros para transmitir a programação.
