Resumo: Introduction: monitoring workers' health is a fundamental tool in identifying, recognizing the scenario, and changing reality. Health is a universal right and duty of the State, an achievement expressed in the Federal Constitution of 1988 and regulated by the Organic Health Law. Occupational health is configured as an interdisciplinary field of work, aimed at intervening in labor relations with a focus health promotion, prevention and surveillance. In nursing, the study of absenteeism becomes essential because it represents the largest workforce in health institutions. There is a need to understand the issues related to the health-disease process and to monitor the causes of illness. In this context, the main objective was to develop content for electronic health surveillance systems for nursing workers. Secondary objectives were defined: To identify in the literature the essential items for monitoring nursing workers' illness and absenteeism; analyze what has been produced about the health surveillance of nursing workers, according to the literature; describe the items relevant to the health surveillance of the nursing worker according to specialists in the area of knowledge; to develop and evaluate the evidence of content validity of items for electronic Health Surveillance systems of nursing workers. Method: the stages of a psychometric study were carried out to develop health assessment tools, following the steps proposed by the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS), with verification of the evidence of content validity for the content proposed from the expert assessment for clarity, pertinence and relevance, using the Content Calidity Ratio (CVR). The research protocol was approved by the Institution's Research Ethics Committee on March 23, 2020, under protocol No. 3,928,859. Results: In the establishment of the conceptual framework, elements related to the relationship with the work environment, health problems, detection of wear, investigation of work accidents, risks in the environment, working conditions, risk of accidents, diseases stood out occupational, rehabilitation and return of the worker to work activities. In the interviews, the categories Prevention and health promotion, Individual and occupational history and Work processes emerged. As for the evidence of content validity of the items developed, there were good indexes of CVR for a version with 66 items. Conclusion: Based on the information in this study, it was possible to develop content that can be applied in the development of software or applications to monitor the illness and absenteeism of nursing workers, contributing to the monitoring and surveillance of the health of nursing workers.

Submitted by Diane CB/B (diane.portugal@uerj.br) on 2023-02-09T13:42:39Z No. of bitstreams: 2 Dissertação - Marcia Lima da Cunha - 2021 - Completa.pdf: 1181912 bytes, checksum: c0909ac17176994257df1cbf3cb3640e (MD5) Dissertação - Marcia Lima da Cunha - 2021 - Parcial.pdf: 220243 bytes, checksum: 67377b5a5e1de6eb1b7fb95ed8a1af46 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2023-02-09T13:42:39Z (GMT).
