WRITING OF THE SELF AND NARCISSISTIC INSCRIPTION IN CHILD OF THE DARK: : the diary of Carolina Maria de Jesus

Resumo: This study "Writing of the Self and narcissistic inscription in Child of the Dark: The Diary of Carolina Maria de Jesus" proposes to wage a dialogue between Literature and Psychoanalysis through the fictional work Child of the Dark: The Diary of Carolina Maria de Jesus by Carolina Maria de Jesus. The clipping to be given to the analysis focuses mainly on the theoretical-literary issues that come close to the writing of the Self, specifically from the writing named diary and autobiography, and the unfolding of the reading of such productions in the psychoanalytic perspective, more precisely on the theoretical track of Sigmund Freud. Carolina Maria de Jesus uses the writing process, the records of her life suffered in the slum as a way of organizing, that is, the process of writing the diary itself of Carolina reporting to herself: the fantasy of being recognised, the fantasy of being read by the other and by herself.

O recorte a ser dado à análise centra-se, sobretudo, nas questões teórico-literárias que se acercam da escrita do eu, especificamente, dos escritos nomeados por diário e autobiografia, e o desdobramento da leitura de tais produções na perspectiva psicanalí­tica, mais precisamente sobre a esteira teórica de Sigmund Freud.
