Resumo: An exercise in style – how else could one address a philosopher who won the Nobel Prize in Literature forhaving written a book on biology? A writer-philosopher known for his unique, literary style, capable ofillustrating the most complex issues with the most poetic metaphors. And, despite it all, a philosopher whonever openly wrote a book on Aesthetics. That is not to say he completely shunned the subject: althoughdisguised, one can locate aesthetic concerns throughout his entire work – hanging around the margins, infootnotes. This article aims at recreating Henri Bergson"Ÿs aesthetic thinking, writing him a modest,posthumous waltz. And it does so through three different axis: language (literature), music (aesthetics), andduration (philosophy). More than an homage, this article also intends to be an update of Bergson"Ÿs thinking,reviewing it from a contemporary standpoint and aware of all the risks therein involved.

E, apesar de tudo, umfilósofo que jamais dedicou abertamente uma obra à Estética. Não, contudo, que dela tenha se privado: aestética está sempre presente em sua obra, porém camuflada, í s margens, em notas de rodapé. O objetivodo presente artigo é justamente o de resgatar o pensamento estético de Bergson, compor-lhe uma singelavalsa póstuma. E o propõe a partir de três eixos temáticos: linguagem (literatura), música (estética) eduração (filosofia).
