Resumo: The article proposes a reading of Phaedo centered on presentation of this dialogue as a work of ontoepistemology. Instead of understanding that Platonic work simply as a treatise about the immortality of the soul, the text will show that the investigation concerning the immortality of the soul in Phaedo is a resource to talk about the true knowledge, understood as mutuality between a r negative process of cognition and the innate cognitive state.
