DISTINCTION AND INDISTINITION OF THE EXEMPLAR AND IMAGE: : Eckhart and Cusanus

Resumo: Two years after of the publication of De docta ignorantia an accusatory text appears, De ignota literatura (1442) by Iohannes Wenck. In this text, Wenck states that the proposition from Cusa makes, in many cases, the same mistakes as some condemned doctrines, among others that by Meister Eckhart. The article approaches especially the objection that appears as the "fourth conclusion" that addresses the theme of identity between the subject and the image, and the consequences regarding the possibility of divinizing the soul. Based on this, it explains the notion of image in Eckhart in order to trace some connections of similarity and difference with that presented by Nicholas of Cusa the piece of writing in question and consequently to draw some conclusions about the considerations from the objector.

El artí­culo aborda especialmente la objeción que aparece como "cuarta conclusión" que atiende al tema de la identidad entre el ejemplar y la imagen y las consecuencias relativas a la posibilidad de divinización del alma. A partir de esto, explicita la noción de imagen en Meister Eckhart a fin de trazar algunos ví­nculos de semejanza y diferencia con lo presentado por el Cusano en el escrito cuestionado y consecuentemente extraer algunas conclusiones acerca de la consideración del objetor.Dois anos depois da publicação do De docta ignorantia aparece um texto acusatório, De ignota literatura (1442) de Iohannes Wenck. Neste texto, Wenck afirma que a proposta do Cusano comete, em muitas situações, os mesmos erros de algumas doutrinas condenadas, entre outras a de Mestre Eckhart. O artigo aborda especialmente a objeção que aparece como "quarta conclusão" que atende ao tema da identidade entre o exemplar e a imagem e as relativas consequências à possibilidade de divinização da alma.
