Resumo: This work, of bibliographic character, aims to analyze the relationship between the concepts of truth and power in Michel Foucault. The text was built through reflections on the power microphysics work, and dialogue with other thinkers of Social and Human Sciences, such as Durkheim, Marx, Weber, Bourdieu, Norbert Elias. Foucault's theory appears in the current academic context as an alternative to paragraph thinking power and its various forms of social manifestations. The truth and presented how closely element on the social practices that enable the realization of disciplinary devices, or even, hum discursive regime. For Foucault the power and microphysical and not restricted if only one hum following the social structures constituting a from the various social practice where the power and truth are exercised. Reflections point as paragraph subject of understanding as a constitutive element of social reality, not just as epiphenomenon of structure and power relations.

O texto foi construí­do mediante reflexões sobre a obra Microfí­sica do poder, dialogando com outros pensadores das Ciências Sociais e Humanas, tais como Durkheim, Marx, Weber, Bourdieu e Norbert Elias. A teoria de Foucault aparece no contexto acadêmico atual como alternativa para se pensar o poder e suas mais diversas formas de manifestações sociais. A verdade é apresentada como elemento intimamente ligado í s práticas sociais que possibilitam a efetivação de dispositivos disciplinares, ou mesmo, de um regime discursivo. Para Foucault o poder é microfí­sico e não se restringe somente a um seguimento das estruturas sociais, constituindo-se a partir das diversas práticas sociais onde o poder e a verdade são exercidos.
