SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY IN COMPANIES IN THE FOOTWEAR SECTOR OF THE CRAJUBAR TRIANGLE - CARIRI – CEARÁ

Resumo: This research aimed to assess the socio-environmental responsibility of the footwear industry in the CRAJUBAR conurbation (Crato, Juazeiro do Norte and Barbalha), located in the Metropolitan Region of Cariri (RMC), located in the state of Ceará, specifically in the injected soles sector. The methodology was based on the application of a semi-structured questionnaire to companies in the sector to build a Social and Environmental Responsibility Assessment Index (IRSA), composed of six dimensions (below), using the Delphi Method and analysis for this purpose. multicriteria for decision making, through the Analysis of Hierarchical Processes (AHP). In a ranking of the dimensions that present the best performance relative to RSA, there are: Minimization of Roads and Exits and Commitment to the Improvement of the Work Environment, these with an intermediate level of responsibility. The dimensions Education and Environmental Awareness and Management of Impacts on the Environment had the lowest levels of responsibility (very low class), while the dimensions Commitment to Social Responsibility; Improvement of the Environmental Quality placed in the low level of responsibility. As a consequence, the IRSA presented low values (0.306) indicating that RSA is a distant reality for companies in the sector. Ademias, the data collected in the research show a marked heterogeneity of companies in all dimensions.

La metodologí­a se basó en la aplicación de un cuestionario semiestructurado a las empresas del sector para construir un Índice de Evaluación de Responsabilidad Social y Ambiental (IRSA), compuesto de seis dimensiones (a continuación), utilizando el Método Delphi y el análisis para este propósito. multicriterios para la toma de decisiones, a través del Análisis de Procesos Jerárquicos (AHP). En un ranking de las dimensiones que presentan el mejor desempeño en relación con RSA, se encuentran: Minimización de caminos y salidas y compromiso con la mejora del ambiente de trabajo, estos con un nivel intermedio de responsabilidad. Las dimensiones Educación y Conciencia Ambiental y Gestión de los Impactos en el Medio Ambiente tuvieron los niveles más bajos de responsabilidad (clase muy baja), mientras que las dimensiones Compromiso con la Responsabilidad Social; Mejora de la Calidad Ambiental colocada en el bajo nivel de responsabilidad. Como consecuencia, el IRSA presentó valores bajos (0,306) que indican que RSA es una realidad lejana para las empresas del sector. Además, los datos recopilados en la investigación muestran una marcada heterogeneidad de empresas en todas las dimensiones. A presente pesquisa objetivou avaliar a Responsabilidade Socioambiental das indústrias do setor calçadista na conurbação CRAJUBAR (Crato, Juazeiro do Norte e Barbalha), localizada na Região Metropolitana do Cariri (RMC), no estado do Ceará, especificamente no setor de solados injetados. A metodologia baseou-se na aplicação de questionário semiestruturado junto í s empresas do setor para a construção de um Índice de Avaliação da Responsabilidade Socioambiental (IRSA), composto por seis dimensões (a seguir), recorrendo, para isso, ao Método Delphi e à análise multicritério para tomada de decisão, através da Análise de Processos Hierárquicos (AHP). Num ranking das dimensões que apresentam o melhor desempenho relativo à RSA, dispõem-se: Minimização de Estradas e Saí­das e Compromisso Com a Melhoria do Ambiente do Trabalho, estas com ní­vel intermediário de responsabilidade. As dimensões Educação e Conscientização Ambiental e Gerenciamento dos Impactos sobre o Meio Ambiente apresentaram os menores ní­veis de responsabilidade (classe muito baixo), ao passo que as dimensões Compromisso com a Responsabilidade Social; Melhoria da Qualidade Ambiental situaram na baixo ní­vel de responsabilidade. Como consequência o IRSA, apresentou baixos valores (0,306) indicando que a RSA é uma realidade distante para as empresas do setor.
