Resumo: The dynamics of the Meeting of the Brazilian Society of Sociology, Business administration and Rural Economy – SOBER (in Brazilian acronym) has stood out to develop the Rural Social Science and the like since 1959. This work aims at analyzing the papers published in the SOBER 2013 from a more focused discussion. For Rural Development and the need to articulate a common framework for the results, highlighting the case of analysis of experiments, trying to contribute to new patterns of work and qualification. Based on information obtained from papers published in the meeting, as well as contributions from other authors such as Assad, Almeida, May among others, it was possible to write the research paper. It was found twelve papers published in Working Groups (WG) Articles - Rural Development, covering various segments with respect to food, education in the field, development indicators, among others. Another result that drew attention was the number of papers submitted which, in this case, it is believed that the size of the event, just dilutes the discussion of rural development in various WG"™S. Thus, the transversal, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinarity is a positive fact, and SOBER has managed to pervade the themes in various Working Groups. Thus, the model of the event encourages discussion by distinct groups of integrative themes.

Este trabalho tem como proposito analisar os artigos da SOBER 2013, a partir de uma discussão mais voltada para o Desenvolvimento Rural e a necessidade de articular um mesmo marco para os resultados encontrados, evidenciando as análises de experiências de caso, tentando contribuir para novos padrões de trabalho e qualificação. Com base em informações obtidas em fontes publicadas no Encontro e também com contribuição de outros autores como Assad, Almeida, May entre outros, foi possí­vel desenvolver o artigo. Constatou-se, doze artigos publicados no Grupos de Trabalho (GT) – Desenvolvimento Rural, abrangendo vários segmentos no que diz respeito a alimentação, educação no campo, indicadores de desenvolvimento, entre outros. Outro resultado que chamou a atenção foi a quantidade de artigos apresentados, neste aspecto, acredita-se que a dimensão do evento, acaba diluindo a discussão do desenvolvimento rural em vários GT´S. Desta forma, a transversalidade, a interdisciplinaridade e a multiciplinaridade é algo positivo, e a SOBER tem conseguido perpassar as temáticas em vários Grupos de Trabalho.
