Resumo: This work presents a study on part of the lexicon of the quilombola community Rio das Rãs, located in the municipality of Bom Jesus da Lapa, Bahia. The objective is to verify if the words spread out, stun, stretcher, plume, porunga, rifurão and sargabunda are registered in Portuguese dictionaries; if so, since when, or if they consist of innovations by the members of that community. It starts from the present, following the Labovian model, by collecting data through 24 oral interviews recorded in surveys lasting 50 minutes each; it goes back to the past, when consulting dictionaries of the Bluteau (1712-1728); Moraes Silva (1789) and Houaiss (2001). The results indicate that, of the analyzed words, spread out, stun, stretcher, plume and porunga are dictionaries by Bluteau (1712-1728), Moraes Silva (1789) and Houaiss online (2001), presenting practically the same meanings presented by the speakers of Rio das Rãs, and only two words rifurão and sargabunda were not found in the selected dictionaries.

El objetivo es verificar si las palabras escanchar, estuporar, padiola, porunga rifurão y sargabunda están registradas en los diccionarios de portugués; en caso afirmativo, desde cuándo, o si consisten en innovaciones de los miembros de esa comunidad. Se parte del presente, siguiendo el modelo laboviano, recogiendo datos a través de 24 entrevistas orales registradas en encuestas de 50 minutos cada una; se remonta al pasado, al consultar diccionarios del Bluteau (1712-1728) Moraes Silva (1789) y Houaiss (2001). Los resultados indican que, de las palabras analizadas, escachar, estuporar, padiola, y porunga son diccionarios de Bluteau (1712-1728), Moraes Silva (1789) y Houaiss online (2001), presentando prácticamente las mismas acepciones presentadas por los hablantes. de Rio das Rãs, y sólo dos palabras rifurão y sargabunda no fueron encontradas en los diccionarios seleccionados.Este trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre parte do léxico da comunidade quilombola Rio das Rãs, localizada no município de Bom Jesus da Lapa, Bahia. O Objetivo é verificar se os vocábulos escanchar, estuporar, padiola, penacho, porunga, rifurão e sargabunda encontram-se registrados em dicionários do português; se sim, desde quando, ou se consistem em inovações dos membros dessa comunidade. Parte-se do presente, seguindo o modelo laboviano, ao coletarem-se os dados por meio de 24 entrevistas orais registradas em inquéritos com duração de 50 minutos cada; volta-se ao passado, ao consultarem-se dicionários de Bluteau (1712-1728); Moraes Silva (1789) e Houaiss (2001).
