Subjetividade e enunciação em Benveniste: fundamentos de uma Semântica linguística (Subjectivity and enunciation in Benveniste: oundations of a linguistic Semantics)

Resumo: In this paper, based on the re-reading of fundamental texts by Benveniste (1956/1966; 1958/1966; 1959/1966; 1965/1974; 1967/1974, 1969), we aim to detect how the author, first a historical linguist, and later an exponent among the structuralists, manages to bring to Linguistics in the mid-twentieth century the need to study a field then new and practically unexplored, in view of Saussure's methodological approach (1916): the enunciation, and its implications. We postulate that Benvenistian thought articulates, reinterprets and sometimes displaces fundamental notions from Breál (1897) and Saussure (1916), in the sense of, with originality, being able to approach the subject in/of language, in the context of a linguistic Semantics.

Postulamos que o pensamento benvenistiano articula, reinterpreta e por vezes desloca noções fundamentais de Breál (1897) e de Saussure (1916), no sentido de, com originalidade, conseguir abordar o sujeito na/da linguagem, no âmbito de uma Semântica linguística.En este artículo, a partir de la relectura de textos fundamentales de Benveniste (1956/1966; 1958/1966; 1959/1966; 1965/1974; 1967/1974, 1969), buscamos detectar cómo el autor, lingüista histórico, y luego exponente entre los estructuralistas , consigue, aun admitiendo la noción de lengua como sistema, traer a la Lingüística de mediados del siglo XX la necesidad de estudiar un campo entonces nuevo y prácticamente inexplorado, a la vista del planteamiento metodológico de Saussure (1916): la enunciación, y sus implicaciones.
