Resumo: The present text contemplates the discussions of Geography of Gender and Sexualities. The objective was to analyze how race, gender and work categories are practiced and/or experienced by women prostitutes in two Latin American contexts, specifically, Cuba and Brazil. Articulated to this, a bibliographical study was elaborated on the latest geographic studies that treated the phenomenon of prostitution. It is observed that Latin American prostitute geographies highlight the colonial heritage that insists on updating the techniques and/or discourses that imprison the knowledge and being of those who disturb and/or destabilize the foundations of the cis-theme racist, heterosexist world and misogynist.

O objetivo consistiu em analisar como as categorias raça, gênero e trabalho são praticadas e/ou experienciadas pelas mulheres prostitutas em dois contextos latinoamericanos, quais sejam, Cuba e Brasil. Articulado a este, foi elaborado um estudo bibliográfico sobre os últimos estudos geográficos que versaram sobre o fenômeno da prostituição. Observa-se que as geografias prostitutas latinoamericanas colocam em evidência a herança colonial que insiste em atualizar as técnicas e/ou discursos que aprisionam o saber e o ser daquelas/es que peturbam e/ou desestabilizam as bases do cis-tema mundo racista, heterossexista e misógino.El presente texto contempla las discusiones de Geografía de Género y Sexualidades. El objetivo fue analizar cómo las categorías de raza, género y trabajo son practicadas y/o experimentadas por mujeres prostitutas en dos contextos latinoamericanos, a saber, Cuba y Brasil. Ligado a esto, se elaboró ​​un estudio bibliográfico sobre los últimos estudios geográficos que abordaron el fenómeno de la prostitución.
